Hey there!
Thanks for posting!

Please try deleting and then re-installing the app on your phone and then try to log-in again.

This should help to fix your issue. If this doesn't fix it, it might be an issue related to your Power Automate Environment DLP and you would need to contact your system Admin to gain permission.

Please report your findings back to this post so that we can mark it once it is solved!

Cheers!

Hello,

Since the most recent update of this app, I have been getting the following error on my Android device: "There was a problem signing in. Please try again, or sign in with a different account."

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 with Android V9, Verizon as my carrier, and the October 1 security patch level installed. The version of the power automate app that I have is 2.36. I have been able to log in to power automate online through my O365 account.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, uninstalling all Microsoft related apps, and removing my O365 account from the "Accounts" list in "Settings". Nothing has helped.

I have two coworkers with the following:

 Coworker 1Coworker 2
CarrierVerizonAT & T
DeviceSamsung Galaxy S8Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus
Android Version99
Power Automate Version2.352.35
Security Patch LevelOctober 1November 1

I have found the power automate app to be very useful for my work, and beyond this, have been very satisfied. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

I had same problem.

Are your coworkers able to sign in power automate app?

I solved like this

1. remove power automate app on my device.

2. find 2.35.0 ver. apk file and install(I stopped beta version)

3. I can sign in

4. Update the app and I check that I can sign in.

I wish you solve this problem:)

Thanks for this suggestion. I downloaded the 2.35 APK version, and it worked! Many thanks!

Hi, how did you get and install an older version of Power Automate.

In Play Store I'm seeing only the latest.

Hi.
I think you can find older ver. files apk sites
search power flow 2.35.0 apk via bing.

Yes it does work. That version is still called Flow, not Power automate, by the way. Shameful how Microsoft can ignore an obvious issue like this. Did you hear Microsoft ? Now I have to go and disable automatic upgrades on the app I just realized... Or not, since I installed side apk... DID YOU HEAR, MICROSOFT, FIX THIS ASAP! IT'S BEEN MONTHS!

PS. 2020/06/18: Since I installed the prior version, my phone updated to version 2.36 which is titled Power Automate. This one version works now, it used to not work before. What happened in between that might have something to do with it is that I uninstalled the Authenticator Android app (Msft), which was causing problems with Microsoft Teams. The issues might be related, who knows?

PS2. 2020/06/18: Even though PowerAutomate works now, it's still not perfect. The button triggers don't work, inside the app, or outside, through the widgets on the home screens. The widgets fail to connect to any of the flows, cannot be created. The button triggers inside the app fail with "try again later". Who on Earth still responds to a failure with "try again later"?

Does anyone have a reliable link to the best place to obtain and download this APK?

I have tried several times to uninstall and reinstall the app from Play Store, but it always gives me the error message when I try to log on using my School Account. Is there anything else I can try before digging around to find the APK?

Microsoft Power Automate developers, this is the third Android phone that I have tried to use with Power Automate and none of them ever allow me to log on. I would like to encourage others to use the app, but it is impossible if they have to manually install an APK to do this. I hope you will be able to look into this issue. Thank you.

I have spoken to Microsoft support about this and the representative kindly directed me to this thread.

This is the second time, I have been advised to install a Flow APK for my brand new Samsung phone. I had the same problem with my previous work phone This is really frustrating. I have followed all the advice, logged out of all Microsoft apps, run Android software updates, reinstalled Power Automate from Google Store and still I cannot log on.

I really do not want to go to some unofficial website to download and try to install an APK that could very well be corrupt for all I know. As an admin, I would never advise any of my users do that.

Please, Microsoft Power Automate Mobile App Team, take a look at this. Not being able to test and run Power Automate (and PowerApps) on a standard Samsung phone (doesn't work on my personal Motorola Moto either) is very limiting.

I hope to hear back about this. If the only way forward is to side-load the APK, could someone from Microsoft at least provide a trustworthy and secure download location. Thank you.

My resolution mentioned above (install older version and then that version upgrades and it works) didn't make much sense as to why the issue happens.

I had another incident, and one guy mentioned another fix...remove Microsoft Authentication application from your phone...tried that it started working. You can reinstall Msft Authentication after PowerAutomate starts working, see if works. I wasn't curious enough.

Hope it helps,

Serban

PS. I have another issue now...trigger buttons don't work...something wrong, try again later...someone said it's an authentication problem, just as well...

Having the same problem with all my outreach workers' new Samsung galaxy 10 phones.  It appears from this thread,  it's been an ongoing issue for quite a while.  This is not good and it needs to be addressed.

Has/did Microsoft provided a trustworthy and secure download for the Flow APK yet?

On my company phone installing from anywhere outside the app store seems disabled. After months of being unable to use Power Automate on my phone and multiple re-installation attempts, I now uninstalled both Power Automate app and Authenticator App and indeed now Power Automate app seems to work but now I'll have to figure out how to set up all my accounts on the authenticator app again :'(

Also just as an update: as soon as my authenticator app was set up, my Power Automate app stopped working again.
