Hi all, is there any way to pass a variable name from PVA to Flow? I can pass on the value stored as response in the variable but not the actual variable name. I need to get the name of the variable in PVA and send that as an email to myself.
Just trying to fulfill a requirement.
Hi @kzaidi ,
Not yet.
You can only pass the value to the workflow.
If you want, please, create your idea here: https://aka.ms/pva/community/ideas
If you want to explain better about your requirement, maybe I can try to find a new workaround to do it, like calling bot Framework Composer and then call Power Automate passing fixed values or something like that.
I am saving my conditions in a variable and naming the variable as "Topic Name". so when a user clicks a response, I send an email to myself. At the moment, I can receive the response selected by the user but not the name of the variable in which the response is saved.
Hi @kzaidi ,
Unfortunately, you can't do it yet.
We have some ideas in the Community to make available to create your own variables without a question, but we don't have any planned feature that covers this item yet.
Ideas: Update Variable / Global variable without a questi... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
Change the value of a variable without a question - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
Planned Features: Overview of Power Virtual Agents 2021 release wave 1 | Microsoft Docs
Creating your own variable would solve my issue, I hope it gets released soon
