Add data source support from PowerBI (RSS, Odata, Onprem Sharepoint etc.)

It would be great to add extra data source types. PowerBI does it very well (read-only though) and offers a large number of backend support.
It would be great for PowerApps to benefit from it!

This is key for a perfect integration of PowerApps in the business environment.

Also, not all the business data is in the cloud. Please support on-prem integration with Sharepoint, SQL, CRM...

Thanks!

There have been quite a few enhancements over the past 6 months, including the new CDS data connector in Power BI

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/cdsconnectortopowerbi/

Whenever possible, we do share data connections with Power Bi (such as the SQL Gateway). However, the architecture is not exactly the same due to the fact that PowerApps involve CRUD operations, and Power BI is read only.

However, we are working to provide consistentcy across the business application platform, and will keep you posted on many new connectors planned as they are released.

Thank you for your continued feedback,

Audrie

Hi,
Support for on-prem sources is now supported thru the on-premises data gateway:

SQL on-prem: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/connect-to-your-on-premises-data-sources-using-on-premise...

SharePoint on-prem: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/support-for-sharepoint-on-premises/
