Auto Convert an InfoPath forms into a PowerApps form

Hi,

I've been developing InfoPath forms in my organization for 3 years, InfoPath was merely enough for me now, but I need to advance steps ahead and be more prepared for future changes, so I'm considering to start using PowerApps and Flow.

My main concern is if there is any tool that could auto-convert (migrate) InfoPath forms into PowerApps forms or any other middling template or something like that?

Regards,

Status: Planned

Although a "conversion" tool is not planned on our roadmap, we are definitely working to release help for InfoPath form designers who are hoping to leverage PowerApps for forms design.

Please look out for updates planned this year for this topic area. Thank you for your continued feedback and support,

Audrie

Level 8

Hi,

I also need a simple method of converting all of our InfoPath forms into PowerApps. Since we have so many IP forms, this would be a tremendous tool.

Thanks,

Sue

@SuepThank you for sharing this feedback and supporting the idea with more details. I do know there are partners who are thinking of this today, although I don't have specifics for you. As stated, although an utility is not on the roadmap, we are doing all we can to facilitate this task. For instance, there will be a presentation at the upcoming Ignite Conference where this will be addressed directly, to be presented by Cathy Dew. (More details on the conference topics coming soon.)

In the meantime, thank you for your patience and continued feedback.

Level: Power Up

This post is now a year old but quite high in search results. Do you think you could furnish some of that 'coming soon' information for people seeing this now? Particularly specific help for InfoPath designers who want to switch to PowerApps.

Thanks!

@bsonlineThere is nothing on the short term roadmap for auto-converting an InfoPath or XSN file to a an app in PowerApps at this time. However, I do know conversations have begun on the topic and some partners are considering this. On the other hand, we are working to make a redesign of an InfoPath form much easier so that you can create an enhanced version of your InfoPath form quickly and it can move to production successfully. Here are a few online events showing what you can do now, as we continue to evole the process:
