Case sensitivity in view name labels on iOS app (tablet)

Author Name: Shannon Spears

We have a few views that contain abbreviations, such as "Contacts: LA800 Contacts". When you press Select View and see the list of views, the case of the view name is correct, but when you select the view it changes the case of the view name in the label to "Contacts: La800 Contacts" (the "a" is now lowercase). The case should be maintained as entered to allow for the possibility of abbreviations.

Status: Planned

Thanks for the feedback. Currently the view titles get converted to "title" casing. We will evaluate this for a future release.

Other examples of common uppercase abbreviations used in view names where this will get very annoying, very fast: Regions, countries, states are often used to filter views for content that is most relevant to the user based on geography. For example, LATAM, EMEA; USA, UK; WA, TX Currencies – I have seen customers show deals filtered to local currency and non-local (which are subject to exchange rate fluctuations so estimates may be off). Might also split domestic / international. USD, GBP, CAD, EUR User initials – especially on personal views that are shared, users might be encouraged to append their initials so others can easily identify whose it is, and spot the difference between the main “All Accounts” and my version of the same view “All Accounts – ASV”
