I'm really frustrated with this one too. Crm 2015 as well as VS2015 are just about here. I use VS 2013 as a standard at the moment, looking to move to VS 2015 as I do both Azure and Crm development (amongst other things). I can't understand why the Developer Toolkit cannot be made compatible with at least VS 2013, especially after sooooo much time has passed. I know there are "hacks" to get this working, but I don't believe I should be ... hmmm ... manipulating my dev environment for VS, which carry a raft of risks, to just get it to work. Judging by many forum posts and replies, a large number of people actually end up breaking their VS or having to downgrade. For me, that is a serious blocker to downgrade. A little effort from the MS Dev team could sort this out as well as a bunch of other tools as well to bring it into the year 2015. I mean Package and Deployment wizard you need to manually copy files into the folder and then run to deploy ? Great for CI and CD. Living in hope

Microsoft, can you please respond to this? It has been nearly a month since i've asked this question and even longer since the 2015 sdk was released without the toolkit.

Microsoft released an updated sdk for CRM 2015 and the developer toolkit is still not included. When will it be made available?!

I have the same problem and find it very frustrating. I spent half a day so far trying workarounds and registry hacks to try and get the CRM developer toolkit to work with Visual studio 2013 and it's still not working. This is madness The problem with visual studio 2013 is a known problem for 2 years! CRM 2015 has had a major service update (SP1) but there is still no compatible CRM Developer toolkit for the latest CRM SDK (2015). This is a known problem for 6 months plus!!. Not only is there no fix but there is no acknowledgement of the problem or any time-scales when it will be fixed. Why has no Microsoft support person at least reply to this suggestion! At least acknowledge this is a problem please Microsoft.

This would absolutely increase productivity for our teams interfacing with Dynamics CRM SDK. Please take a look at this as soon as possible.

I've reached out to the Microsoft sdk team and requested that they put me in contact with Matt Barbour. I was at eXtreme CRM in Las Vegas where he demoed the CRM Developer Toolkit for CRM 2015. That was in October 2014 which was 9 months ago and we still haven't heard any news! We were also urged to utilize Connect and assured that Microsoft pays attention to the feedback here. So far there still has not been any response from Microsoft on this thread after being created nearly 5 months ago. Hopefully Matt will be able to provide an update once I can get in contact with him. Hoskinator - Thank you for linking this thread in your writeup!
