Numeric keyboard

Is there a way to call for the numeric keyboard when entering data into a number field, instead of always having the QWERTY keyboard displayed?
Status: Completed

Text inputs now have a property called VirtualKeyboardMode. This is a hint to touch screen devices about what sort of virtual keyboard to use.

  • Text. For entering text in the user's language.
  • Numeric. For entering numbers, including decimals and negative numbers.
  • Auto. Use the same value as the Mode property of the text input.

Support varies depending on device. The keyboard layout and available keys may be different. For example, some Samsung devices do not have negative symbols in the default numeric keyboard. Users can always install a different Android keyboard that is suitable for their needs.

Minimum iOS version: 12.2

Recommended Android version: 9.0

Not supported on Windows.

I noticed the other day the keyboard was changing to numerical/characters keyboard. Unfortunately not to numerical only keyboard, but it will do.

Problem.

My users have phones in English and French. The issue is in French, it's not a dot, it's a comma. Therefore, the users can't input any numbers with decimal because of the numeric keyboard...

I have a ton of textbox to edit if there is no solution, why wasn't that thought of?

@WPB

In UK we use a ‘dot’ as a decimal point, but our Polish staff have Polish language set on their phones and they’re simply using ‘comma’ as a decimal point and it works fine as far as I’m concerned.

I don't know why. For now, I'm setting all the text boxes to "text" but, it's a shame that it doesn't work properly.

You can test the app in chrome by changing the browser’s region.

It's for Power Apps mobile applications. I was answered here.  Thanks a lot for the help and quick responses! I'll still try to find a solution. Probably gonna install another keyboard on the devices to find one that works...

...aaaaand it's broken...

The numeric keypad on iOS is now showing numbers only. No option for a decimal point....

@tahoon please can this be fixed ASAP?
