Screen Reset/Set Scrollbar Back to Top

Add a scrollable screen control that allows the designer to either set where the scroll bar position is or reset the scrollbar to top.

Currently the screen remembers its position when you navigate away from it, then if you navigate back to that screen, the screen may not be reset back to the top of the items to display which is a negative user experience forcing the user to scroll back to the top of the scrollable screen.

Thanks for the response @Audrie-MSFT but any work or changes without a set end-date is like bluffing and of no use and will be taken as a false commitment.

Appreciate if you can tell us the road-map for this?

Shahid

When is this very simple (but critical) feature coming?

When you've got a scrolling form it feels very amateur for the user when they submit a form but are not taken to top to enter the next record.

Any updates @GregLi?

Or @Audrie-MSFT?

Level 8

Agree, this is essential for a good user experience.

Super User

Yep - at an enterprise level it does look a little weak when you have scrolling forms to force users to scroll to the top.

It sounds trivial but many users aren't necessarily computer savvy and whilst as a developer you may be extremely familiar with your form for other users they will only occasionally land on it.

Level: Powered On

This feature would be very helpful for our users. When submitting multiple forms, scrolling to the top each time can become a nuisance and take away from the user experience.

Level: Powered On

I agree! When I load a form control based on a condition, the values populate but it scrolls to the last item on the form! Horrible UX as a result. Please indicate when this feature will be implemented!

Level: Powered On

Another example of missing basic function that should have been present since initial rollout.

Level: Powered On

Absolutely absurd that this was not included long ago. A BASIC FUNCTIONALITY OF ALL WEBSITES!

Level: Powered On

Seriously agree. Very confusing for end-users and can miss vital info if there are changes.
