View in PowerApps based on sharepoint list view

Filtering in PowerApps is not user friendly ,  the option to create a view in power apps (filter) based on Sharepoint List view would make life a lot easier.  Creating a filter in PowerApps is very time consuming  compared to a list view in sharepoint.

example of usage is a sharepoint list that has a status field ( choice field ;new, in progress , completed) and assigned to field (person field),  where you would want to show in the power apps... new requests assigned to the user logged in.

Thanks for your suggestion.  We are looking at starting View support in canvas apps in CDS but can see the value it would have for others like SharePoint.

This idea was logged 4 months ago and wondered if there was any updates - I have over 2000 items in a list and need to filter by the PowerApp user but filtering by PersonField.EMail does not get delegated and to do this properly would necessitate downloading the entire list to the app, and as it is being run on a mobile device using 4G, would result n exceptionally high data charges

MS Flow can retrieve sharepoint views instead of a table and you can pass the data to PowerApps as an array (tutorials available on YouTube). I found that learning Flow was essential to creating good apps with Powerapps when my tables started getting big.

Liliana1210 do you have any links to these tutorials? I'm keen to give this a try. Thanks
