Thanks as always for taking the time to give us feedback @Yahya. At this point in time, while model driven app capabilities do require a more expensive license - we feel this is in line with how model driven apps are being used today, for developing larger scale more complex apps. For the complexity these apps can achieve, we feel the licensing is competitive.

That said, as we look to bring more of these app capabilities closer together, I would expect more capabilities to be available for simpler scenarios, and a relative license required for it. These changes are part of our longer term strategy, and won't be available in the short term. But please watch this space as we align these features.

Thanks again.

Hi All - sorry for the delay in updating this suggestion - this is now available in the latest version of the Common Data Service.

Display names for Option sets (replacement for Picklists) are now used in data tables, forms and drop downs.

You need to be using an environment created after the 3/21/18 to see the new features - if you're using an existing environment, you'll be prompted in the coming weeks to be upgraded to the latest version.

Thanks again for the feedback!

We are happy to say the latest updated to the Common Data Service now supports access through OData V4.

To access the endpoint, you'll need your environment URL. To discover this:

1. Log into web.powerapps.com, and select your environment (Note, it must be created after 3/21 to include the new features, more details here.)

2. Use the switcher in the bottom left hand cover to change to Model Driven mode.

3. Click "Advanced" in the left nav.

4. Your URL will be in the format https://[YourUniqueEnvID].crm.dynamics.com/tools/solutions.... you need to take the "YourUnqiueEnvID" part of this URL

5. Your OData endpoint will be : https://[YourUniqueEnvID].api.crm.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.0/

We have work underway to make this easier to get to in the future, but for now ready for use. You can read more about the endpoint here : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/common-data-service/use-web-services
