First off let us acknowledge how important this feature is to mobile scenarios.  "Always connected" is simply not a workable assumption for mobile scenarios which range from field workers in remote locations to sales agents in spotty wifi places in a city or building.  And while we did release, in 2016, a set of features that allow PowerApps customers to fashion an "offline" story programmatically, it was not the "off the shelf", no code, low code kind of experience you should expect in PowerApps.  In order to build this we need good support and interaction from a back-end.  We have, currently in progress, foundational work in CDS to enable this feature.  Once that capability is enabled, we will enable features in PowerApps to take advantage of it.  While there is work in progress on CDS, I do not want to mark this as "Started" until we have started the work on the PowerApps side and we can talk more concretely about a timeline.  So, for now it will be marked as "Planned".  But do understand that we plan to enable this and that we're taking the foundational steps to make it great.

Thank you for your suggestion.  We are considering ways to surface sandbox portals that may not have the same performance or availability of production portals.

We are excited to announce that we have started work on introducing responsive capabilities. The first piece will introduce the ability to reference the app display width and height (when it is playing) which would allow advanced makers to write expressions to create relative control sizing to achieve responsiveness. However, that is only a first step. We are evaluating different layout methods and will continue to provide updates as we make progress.

Thanks for all your input. Please continue commenting with any requirements or suggestions. This is an exciting journey that we are beginning! Smiley Happy

I liked the below blog from a talented community member. It may offer a solution while this is yet to be released:

Hi,

In the latest release, below is the behavior and that is an improvement from the behavior mentioned in this issue.:

1. When you try to navigate away from the record by clicking on '+New' when it has been newly created, a warning is shown to the user asking him to save the record.

2. If user updates a record that has been saved and auto-save has been turned on, the record gets saved automatically when the user clicks on '+New'.

3. If user updates a record that has been saved before and auto-save is off, a warning is shown to the user asking him to save the record.

We will look into addressing the concern of having a 'Save and New' button in a future release.

Thanks,
