Approvals Provisioning

When ever we create an Approval for the first time, it takes some time to get provisioned. Now what happens when they are getting provisioned? a table in dataverse gets created? please help me understand this. thanks.

Table would be created in the dataverse. These tables store the details of the approvals like approval history, acceptance details and other stuff.

You can make use of these tables in creating approval dashboards or showing approval details by connecting to power bi dashboard.
