is there anyway to set different timing reminder?

Hi

I have a list of Contract expiry date - I need to set each record to send reminder on diff duration like 2 days, 30 days or 5 days to be send to user

How can I do it?  Or can advise a better way of doing this?

Hi @bbsin 

You'll have to give us a wee bit more info on this one.  Like where is your contract expiry date, a list, planner??  What might trigger the different duration, is it random or based on a string or something else?

Once we know a bit more, we can best advise on how to create some logic.

According to your description, you would like to send several reminder to user if contract expires in different time period(30days/5days/2days). If any misunderstanding, please kindly let me know.

We can achieve it using several condition actions.

Here is my SharePoint list:

Please check flow details as below:

Expression:

formatDateTime(items('Apply_to_each')?['ExpiryDate'],'yyyy-MM-dd')

30days ahead:formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),30),'yyyy-MM-dd')

5days ahead:formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),5),'yyyy-MM-dd')

2days ahead:formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),2),'yyyy-MM-dd')

In condition2, it’s similar to check whether today is 5days ahead of expirydate.

Hi Anna,  thanks but does it mean that the reminder date set will apply for the whole list? 

my list is something like that and need to remind the number of days before expiry

If that's the case, I modified as below:

Flow details:

formatDateTime(items('Apply_to_each')?['ExpiryDate'],'yyyy-MM-dd')

formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),int(first(split(items('Apply_to_each')?['DaysAhead'],' ')))),'yyyy-MM-dd')

After testing, I'm able to get reminder here.
