Planner Tasks to Excel

Update June 24 2019 - This feature is now natively available in Planner. Keeping this recipie up in case it could be used for other Planner related flows. Link: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Export-your-entire-plan-to-Excel-for-powerful-an...

I created the flow below to export Planner Tasks from a Board and update an excel spreadsheet located on OneDrive.

1. My trigger is a reoccurance running weekly.

2. This only works with one plan, but can be copied so you can get Excel exports across all your plans.

3. The apply to each is getting its value from the List tasks action.

4. This is the configuration of the steps inside the Apply to each 2

5. Here are the values used in the condition to check if the Card is in the bucket and it's created date is within the last 30 days (The second condition can be removed if you want all Tasks)

Step3.pngConditional Values

6. Finally if the condition works, then you can add a row to your excel sheet. (The sheet needs to be created in OneDrive with all the columns and made into a Table.)
