I have created several flows to update rows in Excel worksheet but I get this error a lot randomly, why does it say my file is locked? Even after I close the browser.

Hi @pladavm,
I made a simple test to insert row in Excel, and it worked without any issues.
What’s the current situation on your side? Have you shared the Excel file with others? If yes, please make sure they are not opening the file when you are running the flow. If now, I would suggest you recreate the flow to see if it will work.
Best regards,
Mabel Mao
The file is not shared with anyone, there is no reason it should be locked I am definitely not in it. It happens whenever a flow is run to add row to the excel sheet future flows do not work because the "file is locked" for like 10 - 15 mins at a time.
Any resolution to this. I'm having a similar issue.
Use Google Sheets, no issue when using this.
The MS Flow team doesn't understand this Excel issue, I have given up explaining to them.
Thanks for the suggestion! I suspected this was an issue with no current resolution.
I am also having this problem - flow step to add a row in an excel table. Then Flow locks that document for anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes and any subsequent flows or manual attempts to edit the file, fail.
having the same issue here.. rendering the flows i worked on useless.. any news about a soution?
Microsoft really need to solve this! So many people affected.
Is this still not solved?
@Anonymous Google Sheets doesn't have this issue, I am not sure how to draw Microsoft attention to this thread....still an issue.
please solution????????
You need to get Microsoft to bring attention to this thread. I tried but couldnt. You try?

I was able to reslove this by doing the following steps.
1. Close all the PowerApps tabs
2. Re-Authenticate/Sign Out and Sign back In again
Hi @Anonymous, yes this is a temporary fix but not a permanent solution as it will lock again.
