Hi! I've used the Template: Copy new files from your PC to SharePoint
...to successfully copy files from a "C:\Users\account\Downloads\Uploads" address (via my local Data Gateway) to a SharePoint folder
I'm trying to help someone do this via a network share but when I use "\\PCName\Share" or a mapped drive it fails:
Can anyone advise if this is possible and provide some guidance?
You need to use the File System connector.

Here's another solution from the forum with an example:
Hope this helps you

Thanks Manuel
That template uses the File System connector but the example given seems to relate to similar locally stored files, rather than file shares
It's the same concept I believe. Just enter the file share path and it should store it there.

Thanks again
Still no luck, the notes:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/filesystem/
...say
Root folder | string | Root folder path (examples: \MACHINE\myShare or C:\myShare) |
..but when I try this the only "Folder" available in the trigger is "FileSystem", so I must have something wrong
Can you advise?
Thanks
Did you ever find a solution? I have the same issue.
Thanks
Hi Michael
No. We ended up using Powershell for the task
Perhaps Power Automate for Desktop might work now but I haven't tried this
Sorry that I can't give a simple solution
Good luck!
