Custom Connector in 'Test' returns application/json, in Power Automate application/atom+xml. How to get JSON returned in PA?

Hi all,
I am trying to use a custom connector in Power Automate. When in the 'test' phase of the custom connector, I get correct data out of it. However, when using the connector in Power Automate, I get a kind of hashed value back. Seems like there is something holding Power Automate back from returning the correct data.

I already tried things suggested on similar questions in this community, but nothing seems to be the solution.
- defined Accept/Content-Type in connector creation wizard
- defined Accept/Content-Type in swagger file
- trying with and without defining a Response schema

Hopefully you could be of help 🙂
