Excel (OneDrive) Bad Gateway 502 "This object binding is no longer valid due to previous updates"

Have a flow, new email incoming, copy body into a Row in Excel (OneDrive).  Connections seem to be fine, can read the File, can read the Table, so all seems good.  When the Flow executes, fails with error 502 Bad Gateway.

I understand from reading that 502 Bad Gateway is a transient or temporary error.

The specifics of the error are:

"This object binding is no longer valid due to previous updates.\r\nclientRequestId:  "

How do I resolve this?

Hi @AlvinYuChen,

According to your description, I created a similar flow to test this issue.

When using the Excel (OneDrive) action Add a row into table, I got the similar error message with you. I am afraid that it is a temporary error that we need to try again later.

While when using the Excel action Insert row, it is also connecting to OneDrive, the flow works fine and the body inserted to the table successfully.

Please try to use the Excel connector but not the Excel online connector in your flow, I assume that it should work as expected.

Best regards,

Mabel Mao

Using Excel through the filesystem is not really a good solution.

You need to install a local gateway on your PC. This could be ok for a personal flow but not for a business one.

There are many complaints about  this error, I am surprised there is no solution

Same error attempting to save tasks from Planner to a OneDrive for Business workbook. What is causing the temporary error? Why hasn't it been fixed? Is there a workaround?
