A potentially dangerous Request Error - SharePoint item created

Hi all,

I am trying to set-up a very simple Flow using a SharePoint 'When an item is created' trigger. I put in the Site Address, which then allows me to choose the List Name I want. When I click 'Test', it says 'Flow run failed' on the top left corner and the error itself is a 'Bad Request'.

Under 'Outputs', I see the following error:

{
"status": 400,
  "message": "A potentially dangerous Request.Path value was detected from the client (&).\r\nclientRequestId: 8962a0e5-e513-4ef7-9366-bd8f264932e0\r\nserviceRequestId: dde8fa9e-1bf0-8097-55d5-ff5411afa066;dde8fa9e-dbfa-8097-55d5-f019df90ed1c;dee8fa9e-8b09-8097-55d5-fec17b6189b9;dee8fa9e-bb1a-8097-55d5-f8ade315db8a;dee8fa9e-db25-8097-55d5-f9284282d1dc;dee8fa9e-7b34-8097-55d5-f72a6e08cfad",
  "source": "",
  "errors": []
}

I can successfully run tests and successful flow runs on another List within the subsite, but this specific list is causing me issues.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @ogcmstech

That could be the reason (its just warning I guess for a dangerous url)

Can you just try with a simple list and see if you get the error?

Hi @ogcmstech

Is there any special character in your list name or in the site url by any chance

Yes, the list name itself has the & symbol.

Hey!

I switched the & in the list name to 'and' and the test ran!

Another thing then... I added a 'Send an email' action to the flow. When I receive the notification, it always says <end> at the end, but isn't visible in the actual email of the body.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Reza,

I've the same error. What I want to do is to list all the folders, nested folders, and files in an url from onedirve in power apps.
But it seems, that power apps doesn´t conect to ondrive like sharepoint. So, in another post a user had the same challenge and the solution that was proposed is to do a flow to get the list of items and then send the items to power apps (https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/List-Files-in-a-Folder-in-OneDrive/td-p/4405....

When running the flow, I get the error 401: A potentially dangerous Request.Path value was detected from the client (?). The URL from the folder of one drive has a question mark; I've 2 doubts:
1. How should I change the question mark to get acces to the folder?
2. Is there any other way to get all the files of OneDrive in PowerApps?

Allways your youtube subscriber (lol!),

José
