Approval request email sends, but when end user clicks Approve, nothing happens

One of our employees uses a shared email box and we have an approval flow step set up to send approval to this email box.  Upon receipt of these emails, the employee clicks approve but is redirected to the Microsoft flow home page and it seems the Approval link does nothing to advance the flow to the next step.

Is anyone else having this issue?  Any ideas how to address?

Thanks,

Hi @  mab17,

Could you please share a screenshot about your scenes?

An approval email would arrives with two optional approval format.

When the approval email arrives, you would see the format as screenshot belowCapture.PNG

You could choose Approve button and make comments ,and the Submit your response in this format.

And if you click the "Show original message",you would see the format as your second photo as screenshot below:

Capture.PNG

In this format ,if you click the Approval, you will be redirected to the Microsoft flow home page, and you need to submit a response on the Microsoft flow home page to finish the approval.

Please let me know if your issue could be solved.

Regards,
Alice Zhang

Alice,

Thank you for your reply.  In further research, we figured out the issue on our end.  Looks like it was an acccount sign up mix up that was generated an odd view of the approval email.  We have solved the problem.

Again, thanks for your quick reply.
