I've requirement to get user name from Forms and upon submission add a user to Azure AD group (Security Group)
I'm using Azure Object ID as Group ID. I'm not sure if this is the same. I tried hard to find out how to retrive Group ID but no luck.
I could have successfully done the same action with using Object ID.
Is there any information to fix this error?
If you are using dynamic content, that will possibly course this error.
What are my options to resolve this? I see you're asking me for clue😏
could you please give us the screenshot of entire flow?
As I said, if you are using dynamic content that can be the course of the error.
Also, you should check the limitation.
How can I find Group ID, I only see Object ID of AD group
you can use Object Id as Group Id.
Are you using the security group that is Mail-enabled?
As I commented, mail-enebled security groups are not supported in the Azure AD connector.
Check this site.
Hello Rumi - Thanks for the quick response! I'm not using mail-enabled AD groups.
Thank you for checking.
Now, I can see all the setting in your flow seems to be correct.
If there is a problem, that may be related to "User Id", I think.
Can you see the User Id (received by the dynamic content) in your run history?
please check the User Id is existing and the user can be added to the group.
Then, if there seems to be no problem, please consider to ask Microsoft Support and give them more detailed information like Flow Id, your tenant information, and zip file of the flow.
