CDS Flow - Filtering attributes not working

I’ve been using the Flow CDS connector for Dynamics and I think I have an issue with it. Don’t get me wrong, I can see its potential and I do like it but..
It seems that using the CDS on Update of records and setting the advanced Attribute Filter to trigger the Flow on change of a specific attribute (optionset value) isn’t working quite the same as the traditional workflows in Dynamics.

Please correct me if I’m wrong but it looks like wherever the attribute is included in the update fields (even if it is unchanged), the Flow is being triggered, not just on change of the specified attribute. We do have a number of workflows running on the entity.

Is this something anyone else has experienced?

Re: CDS Flow - Filtering attributes not working

Hi @gazread ,

Could you share the configuration of the trigger?

First, you need to ensure that the fields selected in the Attribute Filters Item are from the drop-down list. It is not recommended to manually enter the name of the field.

From the description in the Online doc, filtering attributes can be used to limit the triggering of Flow. This ensures that the flow only runs when any of the defined attributes are updated.

Please check this article and get more details about this trigger:
