Check on empty choice field Form

I am using a Form with questions where you could select an answer (option button).

I am writing these answers in a Sharepoint list with Flow.

Now my problem is when someone update one answer, Flow is writing an empty string in the SP list for all other answers.

How could i check if an selection is made? What is the default value from selection in Form? for sure it isn't null.

@GeorgeClooney

You can use an expression and check for a null value - see my screen shot below.  My option column is titled OptionCol.  My expression is in the comments area.

You could also use a similar expression when doing the create or update item in SharePoint - use an if expression and check for null values in the expression window for each column.

Thank you for your answer Scott,

Could you please tell me how i get the name of the option column from the MS Form response?

@GeorgeClooney :

You'll reference all values form the Form via Dynamic properties - see my screen shot below.

One correction - I forgot that this was coming from Forms.  To check for a null value, use two single quotes '' rather than the null operator.

If you are still having issues, please post a screen shot of your Flow.

Hi @GeorgeClooney ,

You could also add a Compose under the "Get response details" action, and insert the choice field dynamic content in the Compose action.

Hi Alice,

It isn't still working. The condition is always true when the first part is true. Herewith a screenshot of the specific Form option question and a screenshot of my flow.

Thank you for your support.

Hey, what if you use length() to count the length of the form input? i.e. length(body('Compose')) is greater than 0

Sorry Gristy isn't working. Getting the following message
