Create Event V4 appears to return calendar id instead of event id

I am trying to log the event-id that is outputted from the Create Event (V4) action. However the value that is returned appears to be the calendar-id rather than the event-id. According to the specification of the connector this should be the 'event's unique id' (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/#graphcalendareventclientreceive) however various tests (also with older versions of this action) seem to consistently return the same value for each created event which seems to be the calendar-id for the calendar in which the event is created.

Re: Create Event V4 appears to return calendar id instead of event id

Hi @jllio

I just checked this in my environmnet by creating two events:

1. AAMkADExYmZlOTIyLTU4ZWEtNGIxMS1iOTYxLWQyMjVjNThmOTU3YgBGAAAAAAAoYv3OiJtISrTh2hUQGLxkBwCO8EoYaNfTr1giQpgkT6LAAAAAAENAACO8EoBYaNfTr1giQpgkT6LAAATjtlFAAA=

2. AAMkADExYmZlOTIyLTU4ZWEtNGIxMS1iOTYxLWQyMjVjNThmOTU3YgBGAAAAAAAoYv3OiJtISrTh2hUQGLxkBwCO8EoYaNfTr1giQpgkT6LAAAAAAEGAACO8EoBYaNfTr1giQpgkT6LAAAAAD7OAAA=

Although the difference is very tiny in such a big string, but it still is there.

Hope this Helps!

Re: Create Event V4 appears to return calendar id instead of event id

Hi @jllio ,

I did a similar test on my side, although the ids of the different event in the same calendar's and corresponding calendar id are similar, but not the same value.

They have the same parts, but not exactly the same.

Here are some of my test results:

Event1 id: AAMkADdlMjNiM2UxLTZhNTQtNDQ5MC04OTY1LWUwZTgxMWY1NDllYQBGAAAAAABXk8gAhCIwRo62o4N-PjXYBwC5BXAte7oYTr3HtH2LEEfWAAAAAAENAAC5BXAte7oYTr3HtH2LEEfWAAC43b5kAAA=

Event2 id: AAMkADdlMjNiM2UxLTZhNTQtNDQ5MC04OTY1LWUwZTgxMWY1NDllYQBGAAAAAABXk8gAhCIwRo62o4N-PjXYBwC5BXAte7oYTr3HtH2LEEfWAAAAAAENAAC5BXAte7oYTr3HtH2LEEfWAAC43b5lAAA=

Calendarid: AAMkADdlMjNiM2UxLTZhNTQtNDQ5MC04OTY1LWUwZTgxMWY1NDllYQBGAAAAAABXk8gAhCIwRo62o4N-PjXYBwC5BXAte7oYTr3HtH2LEEfWAAAAAAEGAAC5BXAte7oYTr3HtH2LEEfWAAAAAJxKAAA=
