What settings are needed in Outlook to support actionable emails sent via the Approvals Actions (v2) so users can approve/reject and add comments within the email and NOT be redirected to the approval center.
I posted this question a few days ago and the response was " I guess you are using an email client that does not support actionable messages" Cant believe Outlook would not support Actionable messages but maybe it doesn't...
If Outlook does support actionable messages, what settings are needed to "turn it on"
I have seen many posts about users asking about this and no answers except references to 3rd party email filters and we are not usig any of those...
Using Outlook Professional Plus 2016 - 64 Bit v 16.0.4849.1000 with Office 365
Actionable messages are fully supported by Office 365, please review the Outlook version requirements for actionable emails documetation.
If you could provide an expanded screenshot of your Flow and steps, and of any detailed error messages you're receiving we could likely better assist you.

Hi @skylitedave ,
Please select the Approval type as "Custom Responses – Wait for one response (Premium)" for a try.
You can add the 'Response options' as you want in the Approval email.
Or you can try the 'Send an email (V2)' action.

No change when using premium option
I am starting to wonder if Outlook Supports Actionable messages. Does anyone have this working?
The email screenshot shown below just has links that take you back to the Approval center in Flow
This DOES work in the web version of Outlook but not the "fat client". You can approve and enter comments in the web email.
Is it a setting in Outlook to get Actionable messages working or does Outlook NO support Actionable Messages??
ALSO - I CAN GET THIS WORKING SO I CAN APPROVE OR REJECT IN EMAIL WITH THE SEND EMAIL WITH OPTIONS ACTION, but you cant collect any comments with the Send Email with Options so that wont work for 99% of organizations
Hi @skylitedave ,
I am afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.
If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:
