Hi,

What goes wrong with the expression below?

if(equals(item()?['Ruleset_3'],'1'),'This text',add(add(int(item()?['Year']))),'')

Ai!! Shame on me.

I fill the flow as you say but this is the error.

I think i understand what your probleme is. When you get an element from your column in Excel you have to consider it as a string value so you have to cast the value into Float

add(
	add(
		float(
			item()?['L']
		),
		float(
			item()?['M']
		)
	),
	float(
		item()?['R']
	)
)

Try with the good column name and tell us if this is the same error.

Hi @Anonymous

I don`t exactly what you mean but i changed the varibles fom integer to float.

But then also a error.

HI @frixel

The null value error is coming in because there is no value in the particular cell of your excel sheet. For addressing this, you need to put '0' wherever there is a null value in your excel sheet.

Second thing is that the add function only works on 2 summands at a time so you cannot add all the three cells in a single go.

So what you should now do is, keep the variables as float only. Modify your excel sheet to fill 0 wherever there is a null column in the ones you want to add. Run the flow and share a screenshot of what you are getting. I will then show you a logic to add the multiple values.

Hope this Helps!

Hi @yashag2255

Now i set "0" in the excel sheet and let the variables on float.

But just the error.

Ok now you replace your Add formula

dqsdqs.PNG

By this

add(
	add(
		float(
			item()?['L']
		),
		float(
			item()?['M']
		)
	),
	float(
		item()?['R']
	)
)

and you replace my 'L' 'M' 'R' by the columns names that you hide

@frixel there is some mistake in the sum expression. can you please post that here so that we can have a look and assist you in correcting that

Hi @Anonymous

This is what you mean?

Flow1.png

Hi @frixel

You initialised the variable and changed the type to float right? You do not have to convert them again. You can simply use the variable and the add function axpression will be like this:

add(add(variables('Omzet'),variables('Vloerdruk')),variables('Navulling'))

Please see the brackets position and make sure that the variable names are matching.

not exactly

the add function can only take 2 element

add( add( float( item()?['Omzet']) , float( item()?['Vloerdruk']) ) , float( item()?['Navulling']) )

Hi @Anonymous

I changed the expression but always a error.

For the line that make the error, what do you have in each column. it's would help me to understand.

Because if it's a null value it's normal that it crash

Hi @Anonymous

You mean this?

yes if it crash on the first line

and just to be sure in Excel what is the type use for the column by default it's 'general' but i can see that for the 2 first line some filds doesn't show your value correctly.

When it's a number it's align on the right and for the other type of value it's on the left.

Sorry i check on my side and even if the type if different you use the float function so it's ok.

Can you create a variable object and put one by one your column that you use in the sum in the variable to see what value crash.

Hi @Anonymous

I don't understand it anymore, I can't get out.Man Sad
I think I'll just forget about this project, it gets so complicated where I thought it would be pretty simple.

Sorry to not be able to help you, I just wanted to know, on which line it crash and for that line do you have all the column fill with number only ( ',' is not a good caracter, it's '.' for floating point number ) because your code is correct, the probleme only can from your Excel file.

Hi @Anonymous

Okey, i understand it just a try again☺

I have changed the excel file for format. numbers now at the right

Acualy your problem came from "Omzet", "Vloerdruk" or "Navulling" and not from your ruleset.

For the line that crash you can have its number here

swdfwd.PNG

And for that line Check if "Omzet", "Vloerdruk" and "Navulling" have number

( Just to be sure can "Omzet", "Vloerdruk" or "Navulling" have no value because if it's yes, it's normal that it crash )
