Excel column copied as date

Hi,

I have a flow to copy data from one excel table to another - Table A to Table B. Both tables have quite a few date columns but all the dates are in type "General". However, my flow is copying just one column into Table B as a "Date" type in "mm/dd/yyyy" format although the column is in type "General" in Table A. I need all the date columns as text in "dd/mm/yyyy" format. I'm only having this problem with one column. Please do let me know how to fix this. Thanks!

Hey @Anonymous

There might be some customisation or zone issues that are formatting the date columns in the tables. One thing you can do is, select both the columns and either define a custom format with the desired date format to these or simply change the data type of both the columns (in the both the tables/sheets) to simple plain text.

Hope this Helps!

Hi @yashag2255 , both the columns are already in plain text which is why its weird that its getting copied as a date. If you look at the screenshots, there's one more column with dates in it which is getting copied right. I can't put any formulae in the sheets because that messes up the Flow. Please do let me know if there's a fix. Thanks!

Hey @Anonymous

Can you try selecting the entire column (select the cell notation at the top to select the entire column) and change the data type as text and check if you continue to face the same issue?

Hope this Helps!
