Flow getting triggered every few seconds on Salesforce trigger

I have a flow that is triggered when an account object in salesforce is triggered. The problem is, it seems to get triggered every few minutes, even if there is absolutely nothing edited. The flow is getting triggered, but then thankfully doesn't progress before of certain conditions that I have put into the flow. After some time, nothing is triggered and I get this message:

Salesforce failed to complete task: Message: TotalRequests Limit exceeded. clientRequestId: 82d7b431-2fdd-4c34-8220-78daa3df9798

Is there a way to restrict trigger only when certain fields are edited, rather than it getting triggered every second?

Currently it might be not possible to trigger a flow only for specific field.

The trigger would be fired when any of the fields has been modified.

There is a similar request at Flow ideas Forum, you could vote the idea at here or you could also consider creating a new one for Salesforce:
