Flow launch panel doesn't load

Hello,

I have an instant flow which I trigger from a Sharepoint list when an item is selected. This flow is used by about 15 users and works very well for all users but one. When this user triggers the flow, the Flow launch panel opens and stays in a loading state forever instead of offering the usual run flow button...flow_lauch_panel.jpg

 Thanks for your help

Hi @Anonymous,

Does this state happen often or occasionally?

It may be caused by the fact that network between Flow and SharePoint, you can refresh the page, and try it again.

For this single user, it happens all the time, she has never been able to use the flow. We have refreshed the page multiple times, restart the machine, nothing changes. Is there a way to identify where the process get stuck?

Hi @Anonymous,

Is she have the permission of the SharePoint list editing?

Yes she does, and also a run user for the flows

I am facing similar issue. For 2 users , the flow pop up does not load on any of the browsers. We have tried it with IE, Chrome, Mozilla, Edge but nothing works, I have tried every possible solution, 1. Refreshing the page 2. Going incognito 3. Checking List Permissions 4. Clearing cache and cookies 5. Restarting the device. Nothing works. Please advice as this is a critical functionality that our users use on a daily basis and not having it is a big issue

Same issue here since some days. Worked perfectly in the past and stopped for some users at some point in time... 😒

I am having a similar issue with one of my users. The workflow works for everyone else in my organization. I have checked permissions, they are set appropriately. The user is set as a run-only user, using the same browser as everyone else. The panel shows up with a spinning circle when she tries to access.

I am also facing this exact issue. I had it in the past and it resvoled itself after 2 days.

Now it appeared again and I am clueless as to why it happens and how to solve it...

Hello,

I know this topic is quite old but we're having exactly the same situation, only few users can load the Flow launch panel all others have a spinning circle.

Did you find a solution to solve this issue ?

Thanks in advance

Olivier

Hi, I've the same issue as well.
Flows that have been running fine since months or years are now 'broken' for some random users.
The panel on the right opens, but keep loading forever.
I've tried with other browsers, clean cache, logging on other computers, but all with no success.

Thanks

Alberto

Hi there
I'm facing the same issue as well.

For some users the solution was to login into powerautomate 1x and then they could start the flow without problems.
But for others the same issue remains. Its kinda random.
Browser has no impact on this problem, it happend with Chrome, Firefox and Edge for the same user.

Hi, I have the same issue, for some users it works for others no, same permission in Sharepoint list, same permission in power automate, same licencing.

It is possible that after 3 years microsoft does not provide a solution or a workaround?

Thanks

Hello, everybody!

Do you all reckon that the external user condition has something to do with this problem?

In my case, external users with a specific domain cannot launch workflows, as they get the white loading window infinitely.

What could be the reason? Would it be related to their AD configuration?

Hi,

I have same issue as well, one of the employee can't initiate an approval because the panel is just loading.

Any solution for this or what causes this?

So many replys still to this day!
I have tried some things and:

  • LogIn/LogOut of the Microsoft account + clearing cache doesn't work. I also tried a different browser, but no luck
  • I think external user condition can be ruled out as well, this issue appears for me as an internal user as well
  • AMO1 "For some users the solution was to login into powerautomate 1x and then they could start the flow without problems" -> Interesting! This actually solved it for me. This can't be the final solution for all users, but at least it's a workaround for some cases

Have tried all solutions listed above - this is still broken for multiple users. No help whatsoever from Microsoft.
