Flow permissions for users

Hi

I have created an approval flow and want to share with my users. I share flow with sharepoint list i can't get correct permission level to be configured. In my list i dont want users to be able to delete list items and i dont want them to be able to Manage lists. But if i uncheck either one of them the flow wont appear for my flow users. Is it true that in order to use flow for end users i need to give users these both permisions?

Re: Flow permissions for users

That is the correct way to do it.  Just be aware that the Run ONly users option only shows up for Flows that are manually started.  If they use an automatic trigger you won't see that option.

Re: Flow permissions for users

I think its actually the Manage Lists permission that is causing the issue.  Does your Flow update the Content Approval of the item?  If so that will add a column to the list if it doesn't exist.  So users would need Manage Lists permission to use that Flow.

Re: Flow permissions for users

@Pstork1 Yes it has update content approval action.

You know what i did i shared the flow for user under run only users section and using this option i am able to uncheck these options.

Have no idea if this is the correct way to share flows with users
