Hello, I am struck with a flow My user wants content approval on a document library. The user x uploads a document, fills in a few details and saves it. I have a flow configured, the flow is triggered when a new file is created or modified (properties only). An email is sent to a default person that file has been uploaded. Then comes start and wait for an approval - the approver(multiple people) are selected from one of the library columns. Based on the approval status I am setting the content approval status and sending the email to the default person. I have faced a couple of issues here, whenever I select a dynamic value column then an apply to each is automatically applied. Since there are multiple approver - there are 2 or more emails triggered. I also observed that multiple instances are created for the same request. I also want to make the reason in the approval to be a required column. Could you please help me with these topics. Thanks in advance.
I assume that you add the approver column in your Start and wait for an approval action. Don't do that, instead collect the approvers email addresses into a variable (using an Apply to each action) and then use the variable in your Start and wait for an approval action - after the Apply to each action!

If you see your flow history, you can check the Approval action output. From the output, we can get the responder information. If you use an expression, you can get only the responder who approved the task. This will avoid the Apply to Each.
Regarding reason field mandatory: Unfortunately, we cannot make this field mandatory.
