Flow with Azure function "timeout was reached"

I have an Azure Function that runs a Powershell script that provisions a new sub site and applies a template to it (https://github.com/SharePoint/PnP-PowerShell/blob/master/Documentation/ApplyPnPProvisioningTemplate....). When I run this function directly in Azure functions tool, it runs successfully in about 5 minutes.

flow-failed.PNGI have created a new flow with a HTTP action that calls the Azure Function that is triggered on a Sharepoint list. When the Flow is triggered, it runs the Azure Function, but because the function doesn't return anything for a few minutes, the request times out (see image). It also continues to execute the HTTP request 5 more times every 2 minutes, triggering the Azure Function each time.

My Question is, can I increase the timeout length of the HTPP request, or is there a way to not wait for a response and just assume it runs successfully?

Re: Flow with Azure function "timeout was reached"

Hi @AlanAttwater,

I think this is caused by the Microsoft Flow currently limitation, see:

Limits and configuration in Microsoft Flow

Request Timeout is set with 90 Seconds.

Re: Flow with Azure function "timeout was reached"

Hi @v-micsh-msft

Thank you for clarifying the issue, I couldn't figure out if the problem was with PowerApps or with Flow.

Is there a suggested work-around?  I have a stored procedure in Azure SQL DB that takes 17 minutes, and it is being called an additoinal 4 times at 2 minute intervals.  Please see screenshot below.
