Holiday SP list - approval create event to user office365 calendar

I am trying to create the following:

  • A user creates an item on a SharePoint list - which is a request to the manager to approve or reject his holiday.
  • The manager gets an email and approves/rejects the email.
  • If rejected, the item in the SharePoint List has a column "Status" which will be marked as Rejected.
  • If Approved, the "Status" column will be marked as approved.

All this works fine with the Flow template. Now here comes the tricky part:

  • If the manager approves the vacation, the item should be added to the user office365 calendar
  • It asks for the calendar ID. How can I have user calendar ID ?

Thanks for you help

Re: Holiday SP list - approval create event to user office365 calendar

Hi Mona,

Thanks for you reply. I found a solution to my problem. Argument is missing on my flow. "Attendees adresse" and  "attendees name " was empty so I need to replace with "user email" and user name. And now it's work.

Thank's for your help

Best regards,

Re: Holiday SP list - approval create event to user office365 calendar

Hi Largomax,

Calendars exists in your O365 canlendar should be automantically shown in the Calendar id field in Flow, you don't need to provide it. See example here:
