How do add a link break carriage return in a Sharepoint List flow

Help! I have searched and played with my flow for a couple of hours now. There must be a solution for this. I have a manual flow that I created tonight as a temporary fix since my automated one is running inconsistently. With this I am copying an entry from one SharePoint list field (Next Steps) to another along with the entry that was already in the Notes History field. I need to be able to add a line break (carriage return) between the 2 items to separate them appropriately.

How do we make this happen?

Example of what is happening:

2/13/2020 Notes entry
2/12/2020 Previous entry
2/12/2020 Entry #2

What I want is......
2/13/2020 Notes entry

2/12/2020 Previous entry

2/12/2020 Entry #2

Hi @cmaly1 ,

I had the same challenge and solved it as follows:

- I added a notes field to my SharePoint list with the properties: multiples lines of text and type of text: enhanced rich text

- after this configuration, I was able to put HTML code to my APPEND TO STRING variable

This works fine for me
