How do you use power automate to copy one list to another list when the first list contains a column of type person or group?

I have two lists in SharePoint. My first list has a column of type Person or Group. I'm new to Power Automate, but I believe it's an array. My trigger is to 'copy selected' and I only do one at a time.

I am trying to copy 1 record from the first list into the second list.  The second list has the exact same column format as the first list. In fact it was created with the first list as a template.

The first list also has the possibility of containing multiple file attachments in another column.  I have that aspect of the copy working correctly.

During my Create Item step, I'm getting an error.

OpenApiOperationParameterValidationFailed. The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Create_item' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: The API operation does not allow writing a value for parameter 'item/Interviewers[0]/DisplayName'. This parameter is read only.

Interviewers is the actual name of HR Reviewer which could be empty, could be 1 person, could be multiple people, could be a group.

I have tried changing the little toggle to detail and to the array setting. The detail setting puts me into a for each loop which I do not want. Being in a loop at that point will create the record in the new list as many times as there are people in the person or group array (column).

The array setting generates the error above.

Every other aspect of the flow works. It's copying the files, it's even copying data chosen from a lookup table, choice data, string data, etc.  Just not the array of user emails.

What am I missing? How can it not be an array?

Thanks!

Hi @Darrell3831

According to your description, you want to copy a item from one list to another list with a column type is Person or Group and allows for a multi-select.

I set up a simple flow, you can take a try with the following screenshots to see if it helps.

This is my original list.
