Hi all,
I posted this question on a different thred Re: how to config the Modify run-Only users action item in the flow but I didn't get any answers so I'm reposting it here.
I'm having a problem when using the Modify Run-Only Users action in my Flows. I can add Run-Only users to other manually triggered flows, however I cannot remove Run-Only users. I am using the same Object User Id when configuring the action for add or remove and User Type is set to User. I am getting the following error when trying to remove an existing Run-Only user from another Flow:
{ "error": { "code": "AzureResourceManagerRequestFailed", "message": "Request to Azure Resource Manager failed with error: '{\"Code\":\"NotFound\",\"Message\":\"Cannot find connection acl with name users.\",\"Target\":null,\"Details\":[{\"Message\":\"Cannot find connection acl with name users.\"},{\"Code\":\"NotFound\"},{\"ErrorEntity\":{\"ExtendedCode\":\"14010\",\"MessageTemplate\":\"Cannot find connection acl with name {0}.\",\"Parameters\":[\"users\"],\"Code\":\"NotFound\",\"Message\":\"Cannot find connection acl with name users.\"}}],\"Innererror\":null}'." } }
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ovi.
Hi @OvyOne,
Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow to add and to remove Run-Only users?
Please share more details so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.
Best regards,
Alice
Hello @v-yuazh-msft,
Thank you for your follow up. Please see the details below.
I do have two flows and both are manually triggered flows. One flow is controlling the Run-Only users for the other flow.
Flow 1: Send me an email notification (manually triggered)
Flow 2: Modify Run-Only users (manually tiggered)
Here are the details for the second flow called Modify Run-Only users.
In the flow above the last action fails (the second action Get user profile (V2) is succesfull).
This is the error message (screenshot + actual error message):
{ "error": { "code": "AzureResourceManagerRequestFailed", "message": "Request to Azure Resource Manager failed with error: '{\"Code\":\"NotFound\",\"Message\":\"Cannot find connection acl with name users.\",\"Target\":null,\"Details\":[{\"Message\":\"Cannot find connection acl with name users.\"},{\"Code\":\"NotFound\"},{\"ErrorEntity\":{\"ExtendedCode\":\"14010\",\"MessageTemplate\":\"Cannot find connection acl with name {0}.\",\"Parameters\":[\"users\"],\"Code\":\"NotFound\",\"Message\":\"Cannot find connection acl with name users.\"}}],\"Innererror\":null}'." } }
I tried this in two different tenants and I'm getting the same error.
As I mentioned before the Modify Run-Only Users action is successfull when I'm adding the Run-Only user. See screenshot below:
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ovi.
Hello @v-yuazh-msft,
Do you have any updates on this issue? Were you able to re-produce the issue on your end?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ovi.
Hello @v-yuazh-msft,
Do you require any other information for the problem described before? I was just wondering if this is a known bug with the Flow Management connector when trying to remove Run-Only users for a manually triggered flow.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Ovi.
This issue is still not resolved... I have the same issue!
This is still not fixed...
I found a solution.
The Run Only User is escalated by "Modify Flow Owners" so that you can remove the user.
Wow... I had the same problem with this connector. I searched the web all day about it and couldn't find anything.
And voila, you found the answer @takanee It seems that this action is buggy after all, but it's okay...It works with "Modify Flow Owners"
Thank you so much
