Hello!
I am trying to figure out if there is a way to maintain the same text format when I run a flow from a sharepoint item. I have a column in my list that allows for me to put feedback. I try to type the feedback to include spaces (easier to read). However, once I pull this data from flow to compile for an email, it takes that information, from the feedback column, and puts it as just a chunk of information. Attached are some photos. Thank you for any help!
How the information looks after flow pulls it and send it through email
How the information looks in the sharepoint list
Hi @jglose ,
First, I suggest you to set the 'feedback' column type as 'Multiple lines of text'.
Then, I have made a test on my side:
The text format of the 'feedback' is shown as below:
As the test result shown: in the email body, the text can keep the original format.

Hello @v-zhos-msft ,
Thank you for your response! I have tried everything that you mentioned but when the email is sent, it is still grouping the text together. However, when I look at the run history, it does show the same text format. Please see attached photos of my list setting and the feedback in the email body in flow. Any other thoughts?
Thank you!My list setting for the feedback column
What it looks like in the body
Hi @jglose ,
Could you please share a full screenshot of your flow's configuration?
Could you please share a full screenshot of your list?
The set of my list column is same as yours.
However in my test, the feedback value can keep the original format.

Thank you for your effort here to help! I have attached a photo of my flow. However, as far as the list, it is rather long. Is there a particular part of the list that you need to see?
Hi @jglose ,
I have made a same flow with you, in the eamil body can keep the text format.
It is strange about that the text will change to a chunk of information in your flow.
I suggest you to rebuild the flow for a try.
Sorry for that, I can't find the issue of yours.

Instead of using Send an Email it might be worth trying Send an Email (v2) which will automatically render it in HTML.

Thank you all again for your efforts here. I tried send an email (V2) but it did not work. I will try to to rebuild the flow, but unfortunately this might be a lost cause.
Thanks again!
