Intermittent flow failures

My flow had unusual number of failures last week all of which were intermittent. Most of the error messages refer to 401, Service Unavailable. These failures seems to be resolved when I hit resubmit button. My Flow looks like this:

When a new response is submitted
Get response details

Populate a Microsoft word template

create a file (one drive)

convert a file (to pdf)

create a file (SharePoint)

send an email

Flow is failing at "create a file" step.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Intermittent flow failures

Hi @pantaniroj,

You could consider putting the Create file action into a Do Until action, then at the condition for end the loop of Do until, append the following expression:

@equals(outputs('Create_file')?['statusCode'], 200)

If the statusCode of Create file is 200, it means create file successfully, loop out Do until, if the statusCode not equal to 200, wait for 1 minute, then try to create file again.

To keep the following action could run after sometimes the Do until will failed, you should configure run after, to make next action could continue run when the previous action failed.

Re: Intermittent flow failures

Hi @pantaniroj,

It seems that OneDrive's service was erratic last week, and you can keep watching for a while to see if this continues to happen.
For a failed Flow run, you can click the Resubmit to make it run again:

Re: Intermittent flow failures

Hi@v-litu-msft

I generally receive around 300 form submission every week which has to be emailed back to the sender in a predefined template. Hence, flows!

While resubmitting the flow does help in case of a few failed flows, it isn't a durable solution when a number of flows (almost 80%) are failing. I am still having problems with Onedrive service this week.

Any tips to handle these failed flows would be much appreciated.
