This was the situation last summer
Some users use "HTML to Text" action block + WDL expressions as a workaround, as you will see in some of the posts I shared in my initial response.

So yeah, there are several answers, but there aren't any good ones. Parsing text has to be the worst possible way of going about this. There should be a built in plugin to get values from HTML objects. Is PowerApps destined to be one giant hack? Hopefully Microsoft will fix this soon.
