Issue with Data of Multiple selection columns in Edit view

Hi,

  1. We have two SharePoint libraries and a Flow which copies document from Source Library to destination library.
  2. In both libraries, we have a Choice field with “Multiple value selection” enabled.
  3. To copy those multiple selection column values from Source to destination, we have initialized a string variable and appended all the selections of choice field to the string variable separated by a comma.
  4. Now, the data of multiple choice fields is getting copied over correctly and is available when we view the properties of the document. However, when we click on “Edit Properties” all the selections copied over from source library and disappearing.

Can some one help us on how to resolve the issue?

Regards,

Sudheer

Hi @sudheermadduru

No need to create a variable

Since both the libraries have the same columns

Just use the dynamic content multiselectcolumnvalue from library 1 when update property for library 2

Re: Issue with Data of Multiple selection columns in Edit view

Hi @sudheermadduru,

I have created two lists that named LibraryA and LibraryB, they have the same Choice Type column named TestChoiceColumn. then create a simple Flow that copies the file from LibraryA to LibraryB.

However, I wasn't initialized a string variable, the value of testChoiceColumn in list A also would be copied to list B:

LibraryA:

Then I have tested that modified the value of TestChoiceColumn of list B, it can be modified and saved successfully.

So, how about you have a test these steps above and check the choice value still not be edited yet?
