Manually starting a Flow on a List Item in Sharepoint Online not working

I have setup some flows to be manually triggered from a sharepoint online list.  They show up but when I click on the flow nothing happens.  Any help in how to start diaganosing this would be appreciated.

As you can see below there is no history of any runs.

The flows are on

Here is the flow setup

Re: Manually starting a Flow on a List Item in Sharepoint Online not working

Hi @Distantkiwi,

I have made a test on my side and the issue is confirmed on my side.

The trigger "For a selected item" is only support  for normal SharePoint list, and is not support for app list,

I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

Best regards,

Alice

Any luck with this? I am seeing same behavior today for exactly same trigger (For a selected item). Wondering if I should open a ticket...

Hi @Distantkiwi,

I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned.

I have refer steps below to run the flow:

1.select one item, click the flow I want to run as screenshot below:

2.Click the Continue on the pup-up window.

3.Click the Run flow on the pup-up window.

Re: Manually starting a Flow on a List Item in Sharepoint Online not working

Ahhh, my issue is something to do with my list type.  I have just created a generic list, and then created a flow for it and it works  fine.

My list is was create when I added an Issue Tracker App, that is still not working.  I don't even get the first pop up window.

Re: Manually starting a Flow on a List Item in Sharepoint Online not working

Hi Alice -

I have to think it will work at some time in the future, yes? I realize MS just modernized Issues and Contacts Apps. So would the plan be to remove the Flow and PowerApps option from the Ribbon? Kind of doubt it, ya? So I have to believe/hope this will be addressed or else they are going to deal with lots of "Request Sign-Off Flow doesn't work" bugs.
