Hi all,

I have developed a PowerApps for travel expense reports with a flow for approval.

The app starts the flow and sends an email to the approver. Everything works fine so far.

But now the following problem appears:

If the approver is on vacation for a longer period of time, the flow stops and the employee does not know why his travel expense report is not approved promptly. I would now have imagined the following:

In the flow, a second action is started parallel to the approval e-mail. This action contains a time loop. If the approval e-mail is not answered within three days, the employee receives an e-mail with the information: "Your approver is currently on vacation, please be patient". Or the sending of the e-mail is cancelled and instead sent to a certain predefined vacation replacement.

Has anyone ever realized such a similar scenario before?

I would be grateful for every tip.

Greetings

Herb
