Multiple condition issue

I have a flow that i thought would be very easy to create, however i am banging my head against the wall so i'm hoping someone can help with my issue.

My flow currently runs once a day, it then gets the items from a SP list that i have filtered using Odata (to this point it all works fine)

After this point want the flow to run multiple conditions but run through each independently so that the end e-mail can be better customised. So in effect if condition one is met go on to check the next condition...and so on

However when i start adding the send an e-mail action it keeps asking for apply to each again and everything ive tried does not work??

When i have entered the expression direct into the append to array I get the above error message, to which I did do a lot of hunting on-line but nothing that solves this issue. I then checked how the name of the field was composed in SP to see if that would cause any issues but it has not resolved it

Can you please provide both:

1. the full text of the Items() expression that you wrote and

2. a screenshot of the actual data/field(s) that you want out of the output of this action block (your flow seems to be using a field called "PPE Not Used" but I didn't see that field in the screenshot you provided previously:

Also, please confirm that the "Append to Array Variable" action block is inside of an "Apply to Each" loop that is iterating through the SharePoint list. Also make sure that you are using the actual name of the "Apply to Each" loop that you are inside (It might be "Apply to Each 2" or you might have renamed it; you have to use its current name).

Thanks,

Kyle

@Kmayes ,

Were you able to get your flow to work as desired?

Thanks,

Kyle

The items expression is: items('Apply to each')?['PPENotUsed']?['Value']

The "Append to Array Variable" action block is inside the "Apply to Each" loop this is the only one in the flow.

Below is the output from the get data action:

ok, so since there are multiple values within "PPENotUsed", you'll need a second Apply to Each loop within the first (lets call it 'Apply to Each 2') so that as you're iterating through each of the List items, you will also iterate through all of the PPENotUsed values for each item. It is inside of this second loop that you'll want to put your append to array action block with an expression like:

items('Apply to each 2')?['PPENotUsed']?['Value']

it might also be simpler than that, at this point. You might be able to get the value through Dynamic Content, since the item that the second Apply to each loop is iterating through will be the Values of PPENotUsed. So you might be able to pass in "Current Item" to your Append action from the dynamic Content list of Apply to Each 2. Give that a try as well.

Hurray for learning!

You are amazing! I cant thank you enough for your continued support I have learnt so much from you

I was able to apply a second loop within the first one, then have two append to variables to create the HTML table using the dynamic content 🙂
