My flow always fails when it reaches the point when an email is to be sent. Why is that?

Hi,

This is my first-time using power automate and I'm finding it a bit difficult to get past a certain point in a flow.

I created a flow that would trigger an approval process when a response is entered into a specific form. When the response is approved or rejected an email should be sent to specific people. However, the flow always fails at this point. No email would be sent and instead the flow would show this error message, "unauthorized".

Ive created a bunch of test flows to see if this happens in all flows and it does.

Can someone help on what I'm doing wrong?

Thank You in advance!

@Ameera try using the send an email (v2) action instead and see if that works. It will be sent from you as the creator of the flow rather than from Microsoft which the send an email notification (v3) does. Also you might want to look at the left field in your condition; normally it's Outcome is equal to Approve not Response is equal to Approve.

@RobElliott Thank You! Using email (V2) instead of (V3) worked. Further, I wanted to clarify that the option of Outcome under the dynamic options was not available. Instead, Response is the term used which shows the overall outcome of the approval.
