I have a Flow that I'm building for work where, given a list of people, it returns a list of timeslots where all of the specified people are free and then also returns a list of available Meeting Rooms (Locations) for those timeslots.
However, I'm finding that the array stored at:
seems to max out at 5 items, no matter how many Locations are available (I have an "Apply To Each" looping through MeetingTimeSuggestions and a nested "Apply To Each" going through their Locations).
I've looked at one of my runs and confirmed that I'm not skipping anything in Locations; the resulting Output only contained 5 items, with the same 5 properties defined:
My Flow works GREAT except for that one little detail. Can anyone confirm/deny that behaviour? Is there a way to return more than 5 Locations?
Have you tried setting Max Candidates to a number above 5?
When I test on my side, if I don't set any value, only five results will be returned by default, and after the custom quantity, the returned result will change according to the quantity.
Please take a try.
Max Candidates seems to control the number of MeetingTimeSuggestions (Timeslots) that come back; it doesn't seem to have any affect on the number of Locations.
I increased that value to 8 and received 8 Timeslots but, within each, the max number of Locations was still 5. Let me run another test and make sure my sample data was good; I'll reply back shortly.
Hi, I've confirmed that increasing the Max Candidates value just increases the number of MeetingTimeSuggestions that are returned, it doesn't seem to increase the number of Locations (an array contained within each MeetingTimeSuggestion object). I have a screenshot of the output from my last run; the bolded Date Ranges are the MeetingTimeSuggestions and the 2-character codes are pulled from the Locations. I received 10 MeetingTimeSuggestions (my new Max Candidate value) but not a single one returned more than 5 Locations, despite there being 10+ Locations available in the Calendar for those Timeslots.
An invalid location gets returned sometimes (issue with our Outlook setup), so I manually remove it when I'm appending my variable, hence why some Timeslots only have 4 Locations instead of 5.
