Hello,
Is there any way to trigger a flow with a button press in a SharePoint Subscription Edition document library?
I've tried doing the JSON format to create my own button but the problem seems to be that the Subscription edition lacks the functionality.
Anyone got any suggestions or ideas?
Hi @StretchFredrik,
As far as I can tell from documentation, formatting is supported for SharePoint Server Subscription edition but it looks like it has it's own schema.
This schema is listed in the end of this support article as a note:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/column-formatting-1f927342-2bed-4745-b727-ff8b7ff96b22
https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/sp/v1/column-formatting.schema.json
I would double check if your codesnippet matches the supported actions from that schema.
Hope this helps a bit?
Thanks for the push in the right direction, but how would one use that formatting to get it to start a flow with a button press in a document library? Do you have an example?
Hi @StretchFredrik,
Sorry, I don't have a test installation available of SharePoint Server Subscription edition and I have not seen any examples either. When I come across something I will post it in this thread.
