Re: Problem with attachment file size in new mail that create file after step

I am seeing this issue as well.  Also it appears on items that successfully make it through, the file extension is being stripped away and it is showing up as a generic file.

Unable to process template actions in 'create_file' inputs at line 1 and column 11. The template function 'concat' parameter values is out of range, evaluating the function results in literal of length 230313 which exceeds the limit of 131072.

Re: Problem with attachment file size in new mail that create file after step

Any ETA of the fix?

<20mb files should be working imho.

I tried using the Azure Logic App with similar setup. Received this error instead:

  • Code
    InvalidTemplate
  • Message
Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Create_file' inputs at line '1' and column '11': 'The template language function 'base64ToBinary' expects its parameter to be a string. The provided value is of type 'Null'. Please see aka.msxxxxxxxxx for usage details.'.

Re: Problem with attachment file size in new mail that create file after step

I am having the probelm as well with attachments being move to SHarePoint:

Microsoft Flow seems to have a limit of copying a file attachment that is no larger than 100K from an email to a SharePoint library. Is there any way to increase this limit? We are trying to bring in resumes from email attachments to a SharePoint libraries. Almost all pdf files are larger than 100K.

Re: Problem with attachment file size in new mail that create file after step

This issues seems to have resurfaced this week. Here's one discussion that appears to be related, "Invalid Template error using create file from email attachment".

I haven't been able to find an official update from Microsoft, does anyone know anything about this issue?

Re: Problem with attachment file size in new mail that create file after step

I manage to get it work once, with a small file (1,5MB).

But now I'm trying to use larger file, 10MB and I get a HTTP Bad request while triggering the "On new email".

I tried once again but this time I received the following message:

  • Body
    { "status": 500, "message": "Unknown error.", "source": "127.0.0.1" }

Using Logic app in Azure gave me the following error:

  • Message
Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Create_file' inputs at line '1' and column '11': 'The template language function 'base64ToBinary' expects its parameter to be a string. The provided value is of type 'Null'. Please see https://aka.ms/logicexpressions#base64ToBinary for usage details.'.

Good times.... Good times.... Love my life, etc..
