Registered trademark symbol (®) causing failure of flow

The flow fails to create an item in the sharepoint list if the tweet has a registered trademark symbol (®) anywhere in the tweet-related JSON body (it seems), be it the twitter name of the person who is tweeting, or the person who has been tagged or the tweet itself.

I have a flow which gets triggered on finding a certain text in the tweets and stores the tweet in a sharepoint list. Now even if a person who has been tagged in the tweet has a registered trademark symbol character in their name, the flow fails saying :

Invalid text value.

A text field contains invalid data. Please check the value and try again.
clientRequestId: 4bffa9ed-c394-451a-b261-2c47b6c448ed
serviceRequestId: 4bffa9ed-c394-451a-b261-2c47b6c448ed

At least that's what I observed. Am I doing something wrong, or is there something extra that I need to do to avoid this failure?

Also, can someone please confirm this?

The flow has been shown below and the formula in the flow is:

if(empty(triggerBody()?['OriginalTweet']),1,0)

This is where it fails:

Re: Registered trademark symbol (®) causing failure of flow

Hi @singhs

I am guessing the trademark is not a problem and there must be something else (maybe an emoji) that is causing the issue. I just tried with that symbol and it worked in my case

Hope this Helps!

Re: Registered trademark symbol (®) causing failure of flow

I found that the column receiving the tweet (Title) is a 'Single line column' so restricted to 255 characters. Gone are the days when tweets couldn't be longer than 140 chars. I still wish the error was more descriptive.

This was just a coincidence that all the failing tweets had the registered trademark symbol. I haven't seen the tweets with the symbol coming through yet so I'll keep it opened still.
