Hello all, again.
Im facing an issue with a SharePoint list and an approval Flow.
My SP list has 13 Columns where Users add data for Expense Approval - e.g. Item required/department/cost/terms of payment etc.
A flow is triggered when a new item is created to SP list.
Below are the issues created.
------------ ISSUE #1 ------------
Person in charge for the approvals is notified via 'Start and wait for an approval' action, though, in the details im trying to add the Columns to represent the values, but while im trying to add a particular Column field "Type of Expense Value" there is automatically added an other step to the flow - Apply to each (???????????)
-------------- ISSUE #2 --------------
If request is approved and as a final step of the flow, is to send to Accounting department a detailed summary of the request.
I need to find a way to somehow Export or represent entry's items (all the columns and the data) into an e-mail.
The 'Apply to each' action is for the multivalue fields. The field 'Type of Expense Value' must be the multivalue field.
Instead of exporting the data, you can send an email with all the details designed as a table or any other format or even adaptive card so that they can see the details directly in the email, instead of opening the attachments in the email.
Hope it helps, please like it or mark it as a solution if it resolves ur clarification or issue
@sudharsan1985 Hi, and thanks for your reply.
The Apply to each is added automatically, whenever i insert into the Details of approval the column name.
Can you please provide an example for your suggestion for exporting the data?
The action will be added automatically, since it is the multivalue field. You can try adding the 'Send email' action and you can design the body content with the values from the trigger action.
Thanks for your input.
The problem was that i was using Greek language for Column name and data contents, thats why i want able to do previous mentioned steps.
Changed language to English and everything is working properly.
