Status 400 string not recognised

 
 
can any one help with power automate

trying to update a list from a business excel spreadsheet and flow works until i add the date field.   Note date field in list needs to be sortable By Date, chganging to text or is not an option.  Need to have regional Date format dd/mm/yyy.

Could you please share the screenshot of a Flow run? Is the Date field in Date format or string format?

If it is Date format, the output of the column will be a number of days count from '1899-12-31', the solution is using the addDays() function to process it;

If it is string format, and the Date is 'dd-mm-yyy' or 'dd-mm-yyyy', it is invalid, the date string must match ISO 8601 format, the solution is to change the date string formate, such as "yyyy-MM-dd".

Hi @AJ71,

 

The error will occur is caused by the wrong format of the Date, the Date format dd/mm/yyy is not valid, you can use the formatDateTime() function  to change the Date format, for example:
